Lanika Coore, creator of LanniC is a determine, energetic and open-minded Jamaican; who further expresses her ways of creativity through the use of fabrics. Her burning passion for fashion designing is an extension of her personality and an experience of art. When I was nine years old I fell in love with sewing and making things. I also enjoyed decorating my books with pages from fashion magazines. I used to cut my mom's old clothes and made them into something for myself. This always resulted in a lot of pain and cut on my fingers. A little pain wasn't going to stop me from doing what I love. That's when what I thought was just a trivial hobby, quickly turned into my passion. By majoring in a degree in fashion and clothing at MBCC, a community college in Jamaica. I was given the experience and knowledge needed to survive in the fashion industry. Yet facing challenges afterwards, I said to myself I need fashion in my life and I still have a chance and should never give up on my dreams. That's when I develop LanniC, a brand that will bring an aspiring taste. It isn't just another new fashion line or clothing brand. LanniC definitely has its own "flavor" that enhance a woman's silhouette. Who doesn't want to feel good about themselves? Size and shape doesn't matter. Your clothes should always be comfortable, flattering, unique and fun. My favorite phrase, "If you can dream it, you can do it."
Jim Jackson Juskel Clothing LLC. For the past 15 years, Allentown resident Jim Jackson originating from Orange, New Jersey has run a childcare center in the city of Allentown, Pa. Jackson being an Alumnus of Fairleigh Dickinson University majored in Business Administration and dreamed of one day owning his own clothing line. Over time Jackson embarked on several business endeavors which included SCAW Cleaning systems an acronym for strength courage and wisdom , Bonnie and Clyde Studio Salon , Terminal West Urban Authentic , and Ghetto Hills USA which was a clothing brand that attained marginal success in the golden era of hip hop , the 90's. "I had a stint in the fashion business in my younger days," Jackson says. "I thought it was time for me to embark on it again. I always had a passion for it." Jackson, who now owns KULA Childcare Center as a family owned business, says he admires the directness of children. "If they don't like something, they let you know," he says. "Children embrace the here and now." He wondered if he could create a clothing line that combines an urban aesthetic with the unabashed joy of children. He drew inspiration from the center's cheerful mascot — a sneaker-clad turtle named Kelmorshelby. "It hit me: a turtle is slow and steady and what better animal to use as a mascot," Jackson says. "I thought I should name my fashion line Kel, just Kel."

CLAVON LEONARD When I was thirteen, I dreamed of seeing people walk down the runway in my clothing. I did not fully understand the dream then, but I did see the affinity for clothing and being well dressed grow as I watched my father. Appearance was important and his care for style instilled in me my own passion to express myself through clothing. However, when attending private school the uniform restricted that expression and heightened the awareness of my skin color. Those experiences pushed me to experiment with fabrics, colors, and patterns so that my skin color was not the only thing standing out. Today, as a designer and stylist, my goal is to help an individual feel extraordinary, comfortable, confident and open to new possibilities. That is what fashion did for me; it broadened my horizons. My past inspires me to develop new, creative and innovative fashions. The individual I am helps me connect to the individuality of my clients. Now, at age 50, I am finally living my dream - a testament that it is never too late to pursue what you love. In two full years, business has surpassed what I imagined. I’ve gone from only designing men’s clothing to suiting for women and designing luxury, hand crafted, leather bags. My incredible staff of models, administrators, media team, brand ambassadors, bloggers and more are dedicated to giving their all to building Clavon’s Wear as an international brand. It is my hope to continue this success for the years to come and leave a legacy my children and family will be proud of. www.clavonswear.com Instagram @clavonswear
FASHION BY RENE BIO
The name FBR stated existing in my head in 1990s, every time i watched the popular sitcom ''sister sister'', Lisa that played their mother's fashion label was called fashion by Lisa, so that stocked in my head for a long time, I always say to myself, that would be the name of my brand some day. And beside, friends call me Rene back in the days even when my birth name is Irene. I remember my late Mother rip MAMA MONICA calls me RENREN, she once advised me to venture in studying fashion designs but i declined because as a teeneger i had other plans, fashion design was definitely not one of them, i wanted to be a singer, actress or lawyer. Never in million years did i ever think i would have my own clothing line. but God is so good, it's a privilege that i do not take for granted, i say that because, so many people do not know their purpose or operate in their gifts. So I started sketching for myself while addicted to that sitcom, because i was in-love with Lisa's outfits. Fast forward 2010 i started having so many dreams of designs, i always have a pencil and a sketch pad beside my bed, remembering just waking up early hrs of the mornings or nights with designs on my head, i had to quickly sketch before they go off from my head. So by the end of 2010 in to 2011, i had over 150 designs, wow. What will i do with all these? over and over again i kept asking myself. Being a designer was the last thing on my mind, until this faithful day this minister of God actually spoke to me through the TV, so unreal, ha ha moment. so I started researching about being a fashion designer,
Kerrieen J Bryan I am a wife and a mother of one. I developed my interest in designing and garment construction after co-owning a boutique with my husband in my home country; Jamaica. Honestly I have always loved fashion but the drive to start my own custom made line came from the challenges I faced to acquire items for resale. Thinking like an entrepreneur I saw where I could capitalize on custom making my own pieces, as not only would I avoid the hassle associated with buying and importing merchandise, I would also be able to custom create styles of my own preference; which, was the more exciting part and what drove me to consistently work hard at establishing myself as a fashion designer. Being a self-taught designer was another challenge within itself. One that I strongly dealt with when I first embarked on this Journey, but as my passion deepened so did my success at overcoming all difficulties. In that, my belief and confidence in myself that I could successfully achieve my goals of becoming an International Fashion Designer was greatly elevated. It's just as they say, "If you can believe it, you can achieve it". It has been 4 years since I have been consistently designing and creating my own pieces with a growing clientele that's spread out over the USA, Canada and the Caribbean and honestly, it can only get better. My vision for Haus of Kerrieen J Bryan is to develop a brand that has a unique signature style, with "Haute Couture" at the core of it all. Also to have my pieces on all major runways, fashion shows, high-end boutiques, red carpet events, and on the backs of the most prestigious. In addition to this, I would love the opportunity to use such a platform to encourage and empower others to believe in a dream, work hard for that dream, and not to let anyone tell you you can't achieve that dream. Sumeria Sierra is a culmination of inspiration gathered from interstellar road trips, sunshine filled days and nights around the campfire, excursions through the desert, vintage clothing, thrifted gems and galactic treasures. Many of my designs are based around sacred geometry and organic based imagination; ideas come via my travels, visions and dreams, which I transcribe in to clothing and accessories infused with interstellar magic and rare, unique beauty. I strive to breathe new life in to what was once old and forgotten, infusing vintage textiles and techniques with modern ideas and styles from the future.
